I qualified as a dietitian and nutritionist at Surrey University in 1993 with an honours degree in nutrition and registration in dietetics. Since then I have worked in several NHS trusts covering various specialities for over 24 years. I have specialised in working with children and families and provide evidence based, practical advice for over 16 years, with weight loss, food allergy, fussy eating and children failing to grow and gain weight.
I am based in Dorset and continue to provide a general paediatrics service, specialising in home enteral (tube) feeding, allergy, autism and feeding difficulties within the local NHS trust. I also provide a freelance service offering friendly, personally tailored advice to families and children with any dietary issues, working beyond the service which can be offered by the NHS.
I am a member of the British Dietetic Association, including the specialist groups, Paediatric group, Allergy, Autism, Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition Group (PENG), and Freelance group . I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council, an independent regulatory body responsible for setting and ensuring maintenance of professional standards for health professionals.
As a working mother of two, I enjoy working with families providing practical advice to improve health in children. I am looking forward to working with you and your child(ren) to improve the quality of their diet and the ease of mealtimes.
